This intervention mobilises physical, cognitive, behavioural and social processes, behavioural and social processes.

It aims to :

• Reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
• Reduce the risk of self- or heteroaggressive acts.
• Alleviate the burden of hospitalisation for patients hospitalised over a long period (MDS > 3 weeks).
• Prevent co-morbidities due to confinement and confinement and isolation.
• To maintain the patient's cognitive functions.
• Offer patients a projective situation that allows them to free association with the images and situations proposed by the virtual content.
• Establish or re-establish a therapeutic alliance with the therapist and care teams.

Adult patients with anxiety disorders.

• Anxiety disorders
• Depressive disorders
• Alexithymia
• Affective withdrawal
• PTSD
• Chronic pain (VAS < 5)

• All types of epilepsy (including non-photosensitive non-photosensitive epilepsies)
• Severe abnormalities of binocular vision (amblyopia, anisometropia, strabismus)
• Peripheral vestibular syndrome (acoustic neuroma, vestibular neuritis, Ménière's disease, BPPV) and central vestibular syndrome.

The use of virtual reality for cardiac pacemaker wearers and hearing aid wearers is subject to prior medical opinion.

For analgesic purposes only :

• all healthcare nursing staff.

For anxiolytic purposes :

• For group use, psychologists, occupational therapists or nurses trained in the use of the tool. (One facilitator per group of 4 patients).
• For individual use, psychiatrist, psychologist.

Use in individual sessions:

• Frequency: weekly or twice-weekly.
• Period: duration of stay.
• Duration: limited to 20 minutes per session.

Group use :

• Group of 2 to 4 participants for 1 contributor.
• Group of 4 to 6 participants for 2 contributors.
• Period: cycle of 6 to 8 sessions.
• Frequency: once or twice a week.
• Duration: one to one and a half hours per session, with a minimum using the VR software limited to a maximum of 25 minutes per patient.

Use for anxiolytic "if necessary":

• Period and frequency left to the clinical judgement of the practitioner.
• Duration: limited to 25 minutes per use.
